The last large construction camp in the building of the East-west railway now called "The Trans". Situated in the sand hill belt right on the western edge and right on the edge of the Nullarbor. It had great importance as it was the only known permanent soak, so it supplied both wood and water for years. A scene of great activity in 1915-17.'
