Location: Goulburn Islands and on the coast opposite; east to King River, Braithwaite Point, and Junction Bay; west to Sandy and Angularli creeks but chiefly along the coast. They have matrilineal inheritance and do not practice circumcision. North Goulburn Island people are called Manangari. Note that the Gaari, a recently extinct group on Howard Island, are considered to have been a separate tribe but may have been a horde of this tribe.
