This series comprises personal correspondence to and from Tindale for the period 1910 to 1919. A large part of this correspondence pertains to Tindale's early employment as Entomologist's Assistant within the Public Library, Museum, and Art Gallery of South Australia and under the direction of Museum Entomologist, Arthur Mills Lea (see AA867).
The series also contains early correspondence concerning the 1921-1922 expedition to Groote Eylandt (NT) and the Roper River (NT).
Correspondence has been arranged in chronological order.
