Photocopy of hand-drawn map showing language groups and 'tribes' in the west of Western Australia, compiled by CG von Brandenstein in 1965. 'Fairly certain' and 'doubtful' boundaries are noted, and arrows show expansion and origin of languages. Area includes Port Hedland, Carnarvon (WA) and Peak Hill. A note (photocopy) at top reads: 'Prof N. Tindale with the compliments of the author 28.3.1966'. Tindale added latitude and longitude lines in pencil.
An archivist's note on reverse reads: 'AA 873' [?]. However, this copy was given to and annotated by Tindale and has therefore been included with the Tindale material.
